Wholesale Wall Stickers: Plan Private Label Packaging

Prepare a private label packaging brief for wholesale wall stickers. Define retail packs, coverage wording, labels and cartons before requesting quotes.

For wholesale wall stickers, define the retail pack before requesting private label packaging prices. Specify the sheet count, finish reference, customer instructions and shipping carton separately.

This helps you compare offers and avoid ordering stock your sales channel cannot receive. We recommend approving a packed sample before committing to printed packaging.

Define three separate packaging levels

Your purchasing unit may differ from the unit sold to the final customer. Make those relationships explicit in the quotation and packing specification.

Packaging levelDefine before quotingCommercial purpose

Retail packSheet count, insert, label and pack formatDefines the item your customer buys

Do not assume the catalog's carton quantity is a private label minimum order. MOQ can depend on the product, artwork and packaging process.

Our wall sticker collections contain different formats and finish references. Ask for the packing arrangement for your selected range rather than copying another collection's figures.

Calculate coverage wording carefully

Illustration only: a nominal 300 × 600 mm rectangular sheet has an area of 0.18 m². Ten such rectangles total 1.8 m² before pattern alignment, overlap or cutting.

That calculation does not establish installed coverage for an interlocking design. Verify the useful coverage and explain the basis clearly on the retail pack.

Keep sheet count visible even when you also state an area. This lets customers and warehouse staff check pack contents without relying on a coverage estimate.

Prepare artwork that answers customer questions

Ask your destination-market reviewer which labeling requirements apply to the exact product and sales channel. Approve the language and content before printing begins.

We recommend making the model and finish identifier easy to find. Consistent identifiers help customers reorder and help your team investigate complaints.

Do not add certification logos or unsupported waterproof, fireproof or damage-free claims. A sample-book room image is not evidence for those statements.

Separate mixed finishes from mixed cartons

A mixed-finish order does not automatically mean every carton can contain mixed designs. Specify whether each carton holds one finish or an agreed assortment.

For an illustrative ten-sheet retail pack, twenty packs require two hundred sheets. This is a quantity calculation, not a confirmed carton capacity or available packing option.

Ask the supplier to confirm the packed dimensions and gross weight afterward. Use those confirmed values when estimating freight, warehouse space and handling costs.

Approve the actual packed sample

Review a sample using the proposed backing, inserts and outer protection. A digital artwork proof cannot show pack fit, movement or edge protection during handling.

Agree transport testing with your packaging provider for the intended shipping route. Do not infer a test result from the carton material alone.

Quote setup costs separately from repeat orders

Ask which artwork, printing or tooling charges apply to the first order. Record what can be reused and what changes trigger another charge.

Confirm MOQ by finish and packaging version, plus lead time after artwork approval. This makes a repeat-order plan more useful than one blended first-order price.

Send a packaging brief with your models, quantities, destination and artwork requirements. Private label feasibility and commercial terms require confirmation before an order.

Questions buyers ask

Can every wall sticker range use the same retail pack?

Do not assume so, because dimensions, pattern edges and protection needs can differ. Approve the packing for each proposed product format.

Is private label packaging already included in the listed product?

No, it is a separate requirement to discuss in your quotation. Availability, setup charges and minimum quantities need confirmation.

Can I advertise nominal area as installed coverage?

Only when the stated basis accurately reflects the product and layout. Check alignment, overlap and trimming before approving coverage wording.
